Erin grew up in Pilot Rock, OR and then attended Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, OR obtaining a degree in Business Management. From there she went on to start her Insurance career in Boise in 2006.  She moved back to Pendleton, OR in 2008 to work for Bisnett Insurance. While there she worked her way from the front desk position to Senior Account Manager over the next 15 years.  In 2024 Erin joined The Swanson Insurance Group as an Account Manager with focus on Personal Lines, Agriculture & Commercial Insurance.

 

Erin is involved and active in her community as a Wallowa County Fair Board Member, past board member of Hells Canyon Mule Days and Volunteer for Chief Joseph Days Rodeo. Erin is married to Clay Freels who works for Wallowa County Grain Growers and raises beef and hay at their century family farm.  They have a baby daughter, Crossley Jeanne and 3 year old son Cavanaugh.
